Do You Feel It?

Horses are better than any person I know.

They don’t care what others think. Their humility is grounding. They always speak the truth, even when you don’t want to hear it. They forgive quickly, luckily.

When you trust them without measure, you’ll wonder why you ever doubted. They are patient with my hard and hurried heart.

They never tell me all this with words, but I feel it. What if I don’t feel it? I ask what I’m doing wrong, …. and listen.

God doesn’t speak in an audible voice either.
